Opulence & Balance

Our 2015 Estate Cabernet is a perfect example of what is possible in a short, difficult growing year. Well-seasoned growers and winemakers who deeply understand the science and the art of winemaking produced stunning wines with opulence and balance. Antonio Galloni and James Suckling echo this truth.

“The 2015 Napa Valley Cabernets…are positively stunning in their beauty. Despite a year with considerable challenges and low yields, 2015 is shaping up to be a vintage of opulent, voluptuous wines with real personality and character.” — Antonio Gallioni

“Indeed, the 2015 vintage sets apart the most capable winemakers, who were able to make balanced and fresh if rich reds. They made the right decisions in the vineyards from canopy management to picking times as well as in the cellar with selections of the best grapes and care in not pushing fermentations or macerations.” — James Suckling.

Gratitude to our vineyard and winery teams!

“Aromas of blackberries and blueberries with hints of currant bushes. Full-bodied, layered and bright with focus. This is an excellent value in Napa cab.” 94 points — James Suckling Report

“Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with lively wild blueberry and fresh blackberry notes with underlying tobacco leaf, violets and hints of bay leaves, plus a waft of cedar. Medium to full-bodied with a refreshing backbone and firm, fine-grained tannins to support the bombastic, youthful fruit, it has a long finish with some spices coming through. This was tasted as a barrel sample.” 92-94 — Wine Advocate
