Like most artistic endeavors, winemaking takes patience. Watching the season unfold in the vineyard, evaluating the wines as they evolve in the barrel and allowing them to just be, as they rest in the bottle; this life is not recommended for those seeking instant gratification. Yet, when the time comes to share a stunning finished product all of the anticipation is worth it.

2015 Wild Iris Sauvignon Blanc
With aromatics of passion fruit, Meyer lemon and gooseberry, the 2015 Wild Iris feels like a trip to the tropics. Its sumptuous mouthfeel is first dominated by flavors of pear with a touch of passion fruit and then evolves to include lemon custard with hints of nutmeg and white flowers on the long finish. Throughout, the bright acidity keeps this Wild Iris very fresh and bright from the first sip to the last.
