Our Consulting Winemaker

Frederic Delivert came to Clark-Claudon in 2009 with an impressive resume.  He was previously assistant winemaker at the prestigious Napa Valley wineries, Plump Jack & Cade.  He also has experience from well known Far Niente Winery & Duckhorn Vineyards in the Napa Valley, Hafner in Sonoma & both Domaine Croix Maro & Domaine de la Valmale in France.  In addition, Frederic has a Masters Degree with a focus on enology, viticulture & international wine sales.

Yet, beyond the exemplary experience & education, it is Fred’s positive personality & winemaking philosophy that makes him a perfect match for Clark-Claudon Vineyards.  His is the ideal blend of art, passion & science coupled with an appreciation of a subtle, yet focused, approach in the winery. Most importantly, Frederic shares the belief that Clark-Claudon wines are an expression of season & the beautiful vineyard environment from which they come. 

In addition to Frederic Delivert, son-in-law Brian Forgie, has officially joined our winemaking team as assistant winemaker.  At Clark-Claudon Brian has worked in the areas of winemaking, special projects & marketing.  He has also been the assistant winemaker at Grace Family Winery since 2001.  Brian brings just the right balance of expertise, family pride & enthusiasm to our winemaking team.
